Prepare to take my dog out for a walk, during the winter, it can take like half an hour to prepare, to put on, you know, just to keep warm, a sweater, a coat, wool socks, winter shoes, a hat, a pair of mittens, and also, to put on my dog its coat, but going out with my dog for a walk during winter... priceless!

Prepararse para llevar a mi perro afuera a dar un paseo durante el invierno, puede llegar a tomar alrededor de media hora, ya se pueden imaginar, y solo para mantenerse calientes, ponerse un sueter de lana, un abrigo, calcetines de lana, las botas de invierno, un gorro y un par de mitones, y también claro está, ponerle su abrigo a mi perro, salir a dar una caminata durante el invierno... no tiene precio!

Hello my dear friends, hope youre having a good day or night, it´s getting cold here, and now everything looks like Christmas will be here soon, to start decorating my house for the hollidays, I just made this Nativity, yes, this year, like canadian, well looks more like inuit, wanted to make it well dress for the cold weather, and to make it more natural look, I put it on a log, if you like it, you can make it for your house too, just print the illustrations, cut, and find a base for it, a nice box, a nice plate, or in a pot, surprise me!!

Hola queridos amigos, espero que tengan un buen día o noche, ya el clima esta cambiando aquí, más frío, y todo luce como que la Navidad se acerca a pasos agigantados, y para decorar un poco la casa, hice éste Nacimiento, éste año, con un tipo canadiense, bueno, los quería bien abrigaditos para que aguanten mejor las frías temperaturas que pronto van a llegar, ahora lucen como niños "inuit", y para hacer un poco más natural mi nacimiento, lo puse sobre un tronco de madera, si te gusta, puedes imprimirlo y recortarlo, luego poner las figuras sobre un tronco como yo, o sobre una bonita caja de cartón, o sobre un plato, o sobre una maceta, sorprendeme!!

If you followed me during this week, and saw how my little one, began the week, and went from just asking itself so many deep questions to get lots of fun. Well, I can tell you the little one and its brothers, really had lots of fun parting and dancing yesterday, so today, they just look like this... so tired and my little one is just about to turn off the light, so, no more shadows for the moment... we (my little one and myself), we are waiting to see what will be the new theme for next week for IF.

I want to thank you all of you who visited me and left nice comments here during all this week, I just enjoyed a lot, drawing all the week and going from one point to ending in a great party, Thank you my friends!

Si me siguieron durante la semana, y vieron como mi pequeñin, comenzó la semana, con el tema de Sombras para IF con pensamientos muy profundos y terminando la semana, con mucha diversión, de fiesta con sus hermanos, se preguntarán cómo terminaron?, pues solo miren mi último dibujo para el tema, Bien cansados!, je je, y el pequeñin a punto de jalar la cadena para apagar el foco... por lo que por ahora ya no habrá más dibujos sobre el tema de Sombras. Ahora mi pequeñin y yo vamos a esperar a ver cual es el tema de IF para la próxima semana.

Pensonalmente quiero agradecer a todos ustedes, que me siguieron toda la semana y dejaron tan agradables comentarios, para mi fué un placer hacer toda la serie de dibujos, llendo de un punto tan profundo hasta terminar disfrutando la fiesta. Muchas gracias.

Well, well, well, looks like from a shadow´s dance this has turned into a party, yes!, my little one, was having lots of fun dancing, jumping, singing and dancing by his own, but then it came up to the idea that sharing fun is better, so... it called its brothers and voila... a Shadow´s Party, if you want to have some fun then all you need is to start dancing, any place where you get some sun light will be perfect!
Hope you have some fun today.

Bueno, bueno, bueno, parece que de una danza de las sombras, esto ha pasado a ser una Fiesta de las sombras, claro!, no podía faltar, mi pequeñin, ayer se la pasó, danzando, brincando, cantando y danzando, y llego al punto de que era tan divertido, pero podría ser aún más, de manera que llamó a sus hermanos, y ahora aquí los tienen, en la Fiesta de las Sombras. Sí! mis queridos amigos y amigas, Lito, mi pequeñín, ha estado divirtiendose esta semana, pero por algunas razones, ha tenido algunos pensamientos muy profundos, como habran visto últimamente, pero no ésta mañana, Ale, viendo como el sol entraba por la ventana, se tomó el lápiz y rápidamente aquí tienen... la Danza de las Sombras, a danzar un poco y a recordar que siempre es mejor tener el corazón alegre!!

Hello my friends, my little one keeps playing with its shadow, now it has found the more it gets close to its shadow, it looks smaller, and if it gets farer, it looks biger, this has taken the little one to think this could happens also with its goals, the farer it is from its goals they looks biger, but every time it gets almost to get it, the goal looks smaller.

Mis queridos amigos, mi pequeñin sigue jugando con su sombra, y ahora ha llegado al punto de que su sombra se parece a sus metas, mientras más lejos esta de ella, su sombra parece más grande, y mientras más se acerca, la sombra se hace más pequeña, igual sucede con sus metas, cuanto más lejos esta de ellas, parecen más grandes, y cuando se acerca a lograrlas, parecen más pequeñas.

Hola mis queridos amigos, es hora del té, aquí compartiendo con todos ustedes lo que tengo sobre mi mesa de trabajo, una nueva acuarela, mis acuarelas, algunos pinceles, agua para las acuarelas, un té, (si, por supuesto que algunas veces meto el pincel en el té, por eso, ahora tengo el té a la izquierda de la mesa, y asi ya no lo sigo haciendo ;o), y algo de francés, (ahora necesito estudiar el francés!!

This week the magic word for IF is Journey, all I need to make a good journey is the sun the moon and of course a good friend.

Yesterday, when I was taking the photos for the blog, I began to take photos from different points, so think its the same for each journey, everything can see different, all depends where we are standing at that moment.

Hello dear friends, your visits and coments makes me happy, its a joy to read each one.

This time I want to welcome to the new month of April, time flies so fast, and we are already in April, looking to have soon some flowers in my new garden, I made this little pot with flowers to take it any place you want to.

You can print the two pages, and then just cut out the calendar a little bit out of the blue border, so you can have a white border, the card cut it out inside the dotted line, then fold it and you will have a card, you can write a lovely message for a special person or friend.

Esta vez quiero darle la bienvenida al mes de abril, parece mentira lo rápido que pasa el tiempo, ya estamos en abril, bueno, espero, que pronto el clima sea un poco más cálido y pueda tener algunas flores en mi jardín, mientras tanto, hice esta pequeña maceta llena de flores, con rueditas, para que lo puedan llevar a donde ustedes lo deseen.

Pueden imprimir las dos páginas, recorten el calendario dejando una orilla blanca alrededor del marco azul, y recorten la tarjeta por dentro de la línea punteada, después dóblenla por la mitad, de esta manera tendrán una tarjeta con el interior en blanco, en ella pueden escribir un lindo mensaje para una persona especial para ustedes.

Espero que disfruten mucho de este nuevo mes y que tengan un lindo fin de semana.

Hello dear friends, I have moved to Canada, I had been busy in Mexico, packing, trying to sell and giving away all my things to move to Canada,

Now I have been here for a couple of weeks, getting used to the weather and still doing some paper work, I could only bring one bag in the airplane, but guess what, well that bag was half filled with my watercolors, my brushes and some Arches paper, so now I have some material to keep working on my watercolors, I cant say same about my fabrics for my quilts, I have any!!!, and even I know where to get more watercolors or Arches paper, I havent found a fabric store in the are where I live now, hmmm. Think it will take me some time to find one.

Ill be back soon and will let you more about what I have been doing here.

Hola queridos amigos, me he mudado al Canadá, los últimos días y semanas en México todo el tiempo lo ocupe para cerrar mi casa,

Ya tengo dos semanas aquí, adaptandome al clima sobre todo y todavía haciendo algo de papeleo, en el avión solo pude traer una maleta, ahora son las nuevas reglas en la compañía aérea por la que volé, de manera que solo pude traer muy poco de mis cosas, pero adivinen?, claro, la mitad de la maleta eran mis acuarelas, pinceles y papel Arches para poder seguir pintando, no puedo decir lo mismo sobre mis telas para las colchas, pues por el momento no tengo ninguna, y según veo, me tomará algún tiempo encontrar una tienda de telas en el área en donde vivo, lo que no pasa con las acuarelas, pues ya tengo ubicadas dos tiendas muy buenas de materiales para artistas.
Los dejo ahora, prometo volver pronto y seguir platicandoles sobre mis aventuras en un nuevo país. :o )

Hola amigos, hice ésta acuarela hace algunos días. Mi hijo, que estudia gastronomía, me pidió un pueblito con una pastelería, una chocolatería y una tienda de galletas, y claro que no podía faltar una casa para que el pueda vivir en ella.
Creo que esta acuarela puede funcionar perfectamente para el tema de IF de ésta semana, Capas, ya que tanto las raíces como las casas tienen muchas capas, les comparto tres etapas, en mi mesa de trabajo, ya enmarcado y una foto para el internet.

Mail... have you ever wonder how the letters you write for Santa and you leave them in the Christmas tree, why they disaper on how can they get to Santa, as he is so busy this time of the year... well, I have an idea... this little fast pixie mades this job for Santa, he runs from here to there every night, every night he visit all the houses where children worte a letter and left it in the Christmas tree, even he runs so fast, he is very carful to carry the letters right to Pole North.

Every time you leave for him a new letter for Santa, just leave with it a good thought for the little pixie, is all he ask for doing this job :D

Correo... alguna vez se han preguntado, qué pasa con las cartas que los niños les escriben a Santa y las dejan en los árboles de Navidad?, cómo es que le llegan?, bueno, ahora les cuento, como Santa esta muy ocupado durante ésta época del año, trabajando y organizandose, pues no tiene tiempo de visitar cada casa y leer las cartas, es entonces que éste pequeño duendencillo hace el trabajo, corriendo de aquí para alla, tomando con mucho cuidado cada carta y llevandola corre que corre directamente al Polo Norte.

Cada vez, de ahora en adelante, cuando dejes una carta en el árbol de Navidad para Santa, no necesitas ponerle un timbre para que le llegue, solo al dejarla, deja un pensamiento bueno para el pequeño duende. Es todo lo que el pide a cambio de su trabajo :D

My dear readers, Im enjoying this Christmas time, I share here with you this Nativity, I just made for my house, you can print it up, cut and enjoy it, to make up the start, just cut it, and cut a piece of wire, roll it on a pencil, tape the star to the wire.

Sneaky

Mis quedidos lectores, una vez más, una ilustración par IF, "Sneaky", lo primero que se me vino a mi mente, al leer la palabra para la semana, fué el diálogo de Golum en el Señor de los anillos, "sneaking here, sneaking there"... y bueno, no me anime a hacer a Golum, de manera que buscando el significado de sneaky... Furtivo... y que mejor que una pequeña zorrita.
Espero les guste.

My dear readers, Im so glad to be here again and posting a new illustration for IF, this week, "Sneaky", the first thing I got in my mind, was Golum saying, "sneaking here, sneaking there, in an illustrated movie I saw many years ago, but, then I looked for the meaning of the word. It gave me a different meanning that the first one I thought, so, I made this little fox... a sneaking little fox.
